Overview: Huggies - Thick-n-Clean Baby Wipes
To introduce their new product, Thick-n-Clean Baby Wipes, Huggies wanted to talk directly to parents of young children with the message that the new Huggies Baby Wipes are a solution to messy situations. "Yummy is messy. Grab the wipes!"
Program Description:
To leverage their already strong brand recognition, and to reinforce traditional media buys, DMG wanted to place Huggies advertising directly in front of customers where the product would be used, immediately strengthening brand awareness and message recall. To achieve this, they contacted All Points Media to get the word out in over 650 ice cream shops across the country. Each shop would display a framed poster and freezer sticker, as well as distribute product samples and coupons to families and parents with children.
Production:
PrintWorks produced 2'x3' framed posters and 4"x6" reverse face stickers to be displayed in over 650 ice cream shops across the nation. The posters, printed on gloss photo paper, and hand trimmed, were mounted in black poster frames with a polycarbonate anti-glare cover to protect the print. The freezer stickers were printed in reverse on a low tack gloss clear vinyl and then laminated with an opaque white, creating a bright and colorful sticker that could be used on the inside of ice cream counter displays. The stickers had to be strong enough to stand up to the environment of the freezers, but not leave residue or damage when removed at the conclusion of the campaign. Both poster and sticker used vibrant, bright colors to attract attention and evoke a cheerful smile from customers.
Results:
All Points Media distributed nearly 1 Billion samples and coupons, generating approximately 450 Billion real impressions. Participating locations reported fantastic response from customers, many of which asked for more samples after the initial stock flew out the doors. By communicating Huggies' message at the moment when the products usefulness was appreciated most, All Points Media and APM PrintWorks created amazing buzz and immediately built strong brand awareness and loyalty for Huggies's new product.
